Love to cook? Volunteers needed!
“St. John’s Kitchen is a haven in downtown Kitchener serving up to 300 meals per day. The space offers a refuge from isolation, where one can enjoy the company of others and be accepted as part of a community.

Every year, MSS volunteers prepare and serve a multi-course meal at St. John’s Kitchen. Mark your calendar and dig out your chef’s hat: MSS will be in the kitchen on Monday, March 14th.

Shifts will run from 8-11am and 11am-1:30pm, with most of the cooking taking place in the morning.

Want to help out but can’t cook? Volunteers are also need to help with supplies and to serve food.

If you would like to donate to support this event, click here (or write us a cheque) and include in your message that you wish your donation to go towards the St. John’s Kitchen.

Please email Rosina Kharal at if you are interested in volunteering.
